I have an entire post that is filled with pictures from the baby shower that can be found on my blog. I had a few ideas on the party favors I wanted to hand out and in the end, I'm so happy with what I decided to go with. For the party favors, I chose to go with homemade mini jars filled with honey and wooden honey dipper sticks wrapped around it. These favors couldn't have turned out any cuter and they were so simple to make. Here's how I created them.

Things you will need:

-Clear mini jars

-Wooden honey dipper sticks

-Honey

-Twine

-Customized sticker *optional*

First things first, I started off by filling up the mini jars with honey. I tied the knot super tight so that the sticks wouldn't be loose and slip off. I also made half of the favors with the dipper going towards the left and the other half going towards the right. I loved the way this made all the favors look once they were all complete and displayed inside of a wooden box I picked up specifically for this purpose. Finish tieing the twine by adding a bow. It's the perfect finishing touch.

Finally, I felt these favors wouldn't be completed without a personalized touch. I went back and forth with a few different options from mini tags or a sticker. Clearly, in the end, I opted for a sticker option, and I'm so pleased. I purchased these personalized Honeybee baby shower stickers from the shop NaturallyTaylored. A year or two ago I shared a step by step video on my Instagram Stories and I had so many of you reaching out to me asking me questions. I'm surprised I never shared a blog post on this and that it's taken me this to do so. This is super easy to do with pretty much all the items you'd already have at home and it leaves my rings looking like they're brand new! I either forget or don't always have the time to take my rings in to get professionally cleaned by the jewelers so this is the best alternative with no damages to my rings that I have found. I received this one with one of my jewelry purchases from Made by Mary and its so handy. This year I would really like to change that and I would love to share DIY posts more frequently. Today I have for you a very fun, simple, and an easy-going project that I'm sure tons of you are going to really enjoy. I had been wanting to give cross-stitch a try for a while. A couple of weekends ago, I made my way to the craft store to pick up some supplies and finally started on my very first design. For my first cross-stitch design, I wanted to give my Libra star constellation a try.

I'll be honest that it wasn't the easiest thing to do, it took a little bit of time, but it was a lot of fun. I made a few mistakes and had to go back to undo my work and start again. This is why I wanted to try a simple design first to get the hang of it. In the end, I'm very impressed with how it turned out. I did share a picture of the end result on my Instagram Stories and boy I had so many people sending me messages about it. Let's get into how I created my little "masterpiece".

Things you will need:
-Embroidery hoop
-Fabric
-Sewing needle
-Thread

Start off by cutting a large piece of fabric that will fit into your embroidery hoop. This was a very simple design and I finished it in one day. I stopped once in a while to do some stuff but if I really stuck to it, it probably wouldn't take me any longer than forty-five minutes to complete it. I would recommend having a reference photo by your side. This was the first time we decided to paint the pumpkins we bought, and it was such a fun and creative way to put the pumpkins we bought to use. It also makes displaying them more festive. I had gotten the idea to paint our pumpkins when I saw a stunning photo over on Think.Make.Share Instagram's page. It was pretty hard to try and have all the lines clean and crisp while using a paintbrush but I tried and I love how it turned out.

I now have a few of the pumpkins displayed in my room.
