It's already been a year that I was updating you all on some big news, that Rudy and I moved to Washington. How ironic is it that a year later I am here once again getting to share some\u0026nbsp;more big news with you guys regarding yet another \u003Ci\u003Ebig\u003C\/i\u003E move, this time we're heading back to \u003Cb\u003ECalifornia\u003C\/b\u003E!\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Ca name='more'\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nWhere do I even begin? The talk about moving back home to California has been a big topic with Rudy and me for the last couple of months. I know what you may be thinking, why go back to California when you moved to WA from there? Without going too much into detail and sharing too much, Rudy was offered a really great promotion and couldn't turn down the offer.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nWe\u0026nbsp;have been back in San Jose for a week now, crazy right?! That just goes to show you, you really never know what the future has in store for you. Things can change in an instant. We never imagined ourselves leaving Washington to go back to California.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nWe are both so happy to be back \u003Ci\u003E\u003Cb\u003Ehome\u003C\/b\u003E\u003C\/i\u003E, I can't even begin to express it. I know people say \"home is where you make it\" and even though we enjoyed Washington, it just never felt like home to us. We really did miss California, which we both knew was going to happen. However, we didn't think we'd miss it as much as we did. There is nothing like having the support of your family and friends. All the people that genuinely care about you.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nI am so excited to see what our future holds now being back in California. As you may have already noticed I have been \u003Ci\u003Em.i.a\u003C\/i\u003E from nearly every social media site, (apart from the occasional IG story post). There were some things going on in my life that I was dealing with, and without getting too personal let's just say I hadn't been feeling the happiest. I had been dealing with anxiety and depression that I lost my passion for blogging, posting pictures, and sharing just about anything because of where my state of mind was. I felt there was no point in sharing a \"\u003Ci\u003Ehappy\u003C\/i\u003E\" post if I wasn't happy, does that make sense? This break was very necessary for me, but changes have been made and I no longer feel like I'm constantly\u0026nbsp;suffocating.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nNow I am so thrilled to say that I'm finally back and plan on hopefully getting back to my usual routine of getting something published weekly. As my first post back let me fill you all in real quick on some of the stuff that I have been up to these last few months.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nRudy and I have been married for a little over half a year! Wow, that went by so fast before we know it we'll be celebrating \u003Ci\u003Eone\u003C\/i\u003E year.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nWe've been exploring so much of Seattle and it's been amazing.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nWe visited Jimi Hendrix's grave, upon Rudy's request which was pretty cool. I have never visited a celebrities grave.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nWe've also discovered so many yummy foods and drink places. There's a macaron place called Lady Yum and they sell some unique flavored macarons along side with champagne!\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nGot to visit the Chihuly Garden and Glass museum. It was beautiful.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nWe got an apartment! It's been so great having a place of our own. I've been having so much fun decorating, I can't wait to share photos of our home once it's a bit more furnished. Would any of you be interested?\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nVisited the Funko headquarters and it was such a blast. I took so many photos and I'm planning on sharing a post dedicated to it.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nWe have gone to California twice this year. I can't believe how much we miss our home. Every time we go back we really try to soak everything in and spend as much time with our loved ones as we can. There's never enough time for that, we're already planning our next trip back.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nI got a haircut! Ok, this probably isn't anything major because it was only a small cut. (One-inch trim.) However, I'm so excited and in love with my hair. I had been in dire need of a trim since my last cut was a few years ago... I love how healthy my ends look and feel now.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nThank you to all my readers\/friends who reached out during my absence to check in on me and see how I was doing. After being engaged for a little over two years Rudy and I finally did it. We got \u003Ci\u003Emarried\u003C\/i\u003E! Ever since getting engaged back in May of 2015, marriage has been a major hot topic for everyone around us. Friends and family members were all so excited for us and curious to know when the big day would be. Of course, Rudy and I had talked about it a lot but we were trying\u0026nbsp;to be realistic. Now with that said, we eloped.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Ca name='more'\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003Cbr \/\u003E\nRudy and I knew we'd be moving to Washington since early 2017. With us trying to save money for the move there was no extra money for wedding planning. Once we'd move, we would be leaving\u0026nbsp;all of our family so it would have been pretty pointless to try to plan and have a wedding up here. That is why eloping worked for us. However, even though we eloped and are now married we still hope to have a small little ceremony one day so celebrate with some of our closest friends and family.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\n\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv\u003E\nI can't even grasp at how much things have changed for both of us recently. If you told me that in 2017 I would move to a different state that is 13 hours away from the only home I ever knew and would finally get married... I would never in my craziest dreams believed it.
