Back in December during mine and Rudy's little vacation to Los Angeles, we had a list of a few places we wanted to visit. This was the perfect time to check out new places around the Hollywood\u0026nbsp;area because we weren't tied down to Disneyland like we usually are every time we're in town. One of the places I had been dying to visit was this very Instagrammable tea shop called Alfred Tea. I found this cute illustration of the exact shop we went to over on their website. There are eight other locations in Los Angels, one in Texas and two in Tokyo. Alfred Tea carries a variety of teas to choose from such as traditional green and black tea, white, herbal, and premium teas. One of their popular flavors is the Matcha. Outside the shop is tiled with pink and black tile and on the wall, it's painted Tea with the Alfred antlers logo. Right outside the door, they have a cute sign that reads \"\u003Ci\u003Etea, yes. you, maybe.\u003C\/i\u003E\" and I love this so much. Inside they have this phrase again but on a neon sign! I ordered the rose milk tea (pictured at the top of the page) and Rudy got the jasmine tea. My tea was absolutely delicious which made me wish I ordered a large. None other than Mr. Holmes Bake Shop goods! There are also so many merchandises for sale. Totes, mugs, teapots, teas, and cups. During my visit to Los Angeles, Rudy and I had tickets to \u003Cspan style=\"color: red;\"\u003E\u003Ci\u003EFa La Land\u003C\/i\u003E\u003C\/span\u003E, the world's most festive pop-up museum! In this magical place, there is so much you get to do. Like, hang out with Mrs. Claus as you write a letter to Santa and then Mrs. Claus will help get you sorted through the \u003Cb\u003ENaughty\u003C\/b\u003E or \u003Cb\u003ENice\u003C\/b\u003E door. Then you get to see a wall of the Elf on the shelf. Make sure you don't forget to get an Elfie Selfie! You get to pick out a toy with your Golden Ticket. Walk through a neon forest filled with tons of whimsical creatures, swing into Candyfornia where you can swim in a pool of dot candy and \u003Ci\u003Eso much more\u003C\/i\u003E! In nearly every room they were also giving out candy. Not just because it was all about Christmas and you know how much I adore\u0026nbsp;Christmas but because\u0026nbsp;it was just myself and Rudy. Normally in pop-ups like this, they let you in in small groups of people and this was only the two of us. Everyone was extremely nice and so cheerful it made me so happy just being there. We were allowed to stay in each room for as long as we wanted, no timers no being rushed. Only thing was we weren't allowed to go back into a room once we left it.\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"\u003E\n\u003Cbr \/\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\n\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: left;\"\u003E\nUpon entering you are faced with the first of many photo\u0026nbsp;opportunities. At this festive wall, you see the Fa La Land logo and you are given a box to choose from lots of different props to use. I was so amazed by everything around me that I completely forgot to snap a picture with her. We had the entire room to ourselves which allowed us to get to hang out and talk to Mrs. Claus for as long as we wanted. She was so kind, gave us each a pen and paper, so festive, so we could write a Christmas list to Santa. I asked for everything clearly haha. Mrs. Claus was so kind to snap this photo of myself and Rudy. This room is filled with tons of large candies. The Christmas tree here was amazing and contained tons of candy ornaments. There is even a swing for the best photos to be taken in. I got tons of Katy Perry vibes from her California Girls music video in this room. She even recently visited Fa La Land too and took some photos here. A couple of weekends ago Rudy and I went to Universal Studios to celebrate the Holiday's a little bit early. During the Christmas season, Universal Studios goes all out and welcomes you to join them in \u003Ci\u003EWhoville\u003C\/i\u003E to celebrate\u0026nbsp;\u003Cb\u003EGrinchmas\u003C\/b\u003E! Yup, during the Holiday season for a limited time you can visit Whoville and meet none other than the Grinch himself and let me tell you I was all about this! I don't think I've ever expressed my love for the Grinch, so let me fill you all in. Ever since the Jim Carrey version of How The Grinch Stole Christmas came out I watch the movie non-stop throughout the season. (And well sometimes in the spring, summer, oh heck even in fall.) I love this movie! It has been a tradition of mine to have this movie playing as I decorate our Christmas\u0026nbsp;tree the day after Thanksgiving. It's crazy to think that Rudy and I have never gone to Universal Studios during the Holidays to go meet the Grinch, it's because we're usually over at Disneyland celebrating. This year we agreed that we would finally make dreams come true and visit the big man himself, no not Santa. It was seriously a fangirl's dream come true! I was so excited to see everything from the actual cars that they used in the movie, all of the extravagant decorations, and the famous and beautiful 65-foot tree! I was like a kid inside of a candy store I couldn't contain my happiness. I was so excited when we got to meet Max! Rudy and I decided to walk around and take pictures with other characters and visit different areas in the park in hopes that the line would die down. Well, it didn't. When we came back the wait was at 90-minutes so we finally decided to wait and get that out of the way. Luckily, the time went by pretty quick and before I knew it I was in the presence\u0026nbsp;of The Grinch! He was so much fun. I enjoy taking photos of my left side and when I asked him if I could stand on that side he responded with, \"Why is that your good side?\" Haha, he kept talking to Rudy too and once we got our photos taken Rudy told me that he was whispering to him if I was getting jealous because he was talking to Rudy and not me. It was absolutely perfect. Cindy Lou is so sweet and so freaking adorable. She was telling me how it smelled like gingerbread cookies and she really liked my red nails. She added that they matched my lipstick, even her nails, and dress too. Her outfit was pure perfection, I was bummed they didn't have a clothing store in Whoville because I would have been in line waiting to purchase her outfit. It was super cute, they had a little show just before lighting the tree which was a lot of fun. The Grinch comes out and along with Martha May, Cindy Lou and the Mayor and they explain to the Grinch that Christmas came regardless of his plot to ruin it. Then once the Grinch realized that Christmas wasn't about all the gifts and trees and his heart grew three sizes, he is asked to light the tree. One of the reasons was to visit Universal Studios Hollywood. We've been here a few times together in the past but never have we been during Christmas time. This year we decided it was an absolute must! We were looking forward to visiting \u003Ci\u003EGrinchmas\u003C\/i\u003E and meeting the Grinch, which will\u0026nbsp;be coming in a future post. We were also really looking forward to the lighting of the Hogwarts Castle! Rudy and I had so much fun, the weather was perfect and we now have so many happy memories. One of my favorite parts of the tour is, of course, passing through the Bates Motel. Have I ever told you guys how much I love Norman Bates from the television series? Such an amazing show a must watch! text-align: left;\"\u003E\nLast on our to-do list before leaving the park was to watch the Castle Lighting\/Light Show in front of the Hogwarts Castle. This was the first time neither one of us were at the parks at night time and it was so worth it. The light show was amazing. There were ghosts dancing, owls flying around decorating the castle, snow falling, and even Harry Potter made a cameo. We really enjoyed the buffet dining and had a lot of characters come to say hi to us at our table.
