multiple times on my blog that it's become a tradition that every year Rudy and I purchase a new ornament for our tree. From one, two, or a few new ornaments, this is something I look forward to doing every Holiday season. Last year I even created an \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.ohhjuliana.com\/search\/label\/Ornaments?max-results=12\"\u003Eornament collection\u003C\/a\u003E series that consisted of five posts filled with a lot of lovely meaningful ornaments. I was planning on continuing the series throughout this year, but I have decided to change it up a little bit and instead share an ornament haul of all the pieces that I have accumulated so far this year. I wasn't planning on picking anything up since there wasn't much on the shelves but I came across a shelf filled with these cute whimsical retro-looking deers. They came in a pack of two and also came in three different colors, pink, mint, and blue. I picked up one of the pink deers and one mint. They're so adorable and they remind me a lot of the red and green felt ones I picked up last year. The photo of the mint deer below doesn't grasp its true mint color, unfortunately. You can find a full photo of the ornament at the beginning of this post, and above you can see a close up of the gold and silver details. I didn't have any Santa Clause ornaments in my collection at the time and I fell in love with this one. It's so delicate and magical I just had to have it. I wasn't planning on picking any ornaments up until I found the best selection of their classic ornaments. One of the firsts that I spotted was this pink van with a Christmas tree on top. I've seen tons of ornaments like this ranging from different colored and styles of cars and I was always a fan of then. I never purchased one for who knows what reason, maybe I hadn't found the right one that was my style until this one. I'm obsessed, it's such a cute bubble gum pink that pairs so well with the tree. I'm sensing a theme in this year's ornaments, lots of classic whimsical vibes. This classic magic-filled Santa Claus mug with a Christmas tree on top was the second ornament from Michael's. They had this guy and a Rudolf version which was the cutest. This is the Elf Son Of a Nutcracker! ornament from Hallmark. Saying that I love the movie Elf is an understatement, I'm obsessed with it. I watch it constantly during the Holiday season, and a couple years back you would have occasionally found me watching it all year round. Now I don't even know why it's taken me so long to pick up a Buddy ornament which leaves me a little ashamed of myself. This year Hallmark released this lovely ornament and as soon as I found out I headed to Hallmark to pick it up. One special thing about this piece is that it talks! If you've notice Buddy is a nutcracker in this ornament and there is a lever on his back that you simply lift up and he shouts, \"\u003Ci\u003ESon of a Nutcracker!\u003C\/i\u003E\". Ever since picking up the Honeydukes shop ornament last year I decided to continue purchasing a new shop ornament each year. This year featured the joke shop that was created by the Weasley brothers, Fred and George. Unfortunately, Hallmark was sold out of it and a week later Rudy purchased it online. He placed an order, had it delivered to me and it was a complete surprise. I'm loving these Harry Potter shop ornaments more and more. In the back, there are rubber holes where you can insert a lightbulb that's wrapped around your tree. This gives off such a special lighting effect that makes it look like the store is open. This tree ornament comes in green as well. I saw it multiple times during my Target runs and every time I skipped purchasing it I'd get home and think about it non-stop. Eventually, I realized I had to buy it or else I'd regret it once it was gone. I loved the white version, the lights on the tree stands out so much more against the white. Originally I had it hanging in the first available spot on my tree, but after a couple of weeks, I moved it around and placed a light bulb inside of the tree to light it up. This is one of the Hallmark ornaments that was released this year. I'm obsessed with this guy it's so beautiful and it's one of my favorite shops on Hogsmeade because of how cute it is. The snow on the roof looks so pretty with the glitter and when the light shines on it it really looks so beautiful. The Doorknob is one of those rare characters you don't really see merchandise of. As you can see this is another fun ornament. I purchased this on eBay and feel it was the perfect Grinch piece to add to my collection. One of my favorite things about this piece is the crooked Christmas tree because it reminds me of the tree in Whoville. I find it so cute that the tree also has a couple of random ornaments on it. The Grinch is as per usual up to no good and is taking all the gifts from under the tree and filling his sack with them. This Alice in Wonderland ornament was recently released a couple of months ago at Disneyland Parks. This piece is of Alice falling down the rabbit hole her dress is even poofed up from the fall. It's so adorable and it has quickly become one of my favorite ornaments of her. I also really like that her dress is filled with blue glitter it makes her look even more magical. When I saw this ornament I just knew I couldn't pass it up. I adore my record player and thought it was the most perfect piece to have in my collection. Not only do I love that this is a record player but I love this film. I used to watch it every year when I was in school throughout\u0026nbsp;Winter break before Christmas. Also, this is my first and the only ornament so far that plays music. I love it so much and as you can guess it plays Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer song. His outfit is finished with stunning glitter and he even has a fuzzy beard and hair! Per usual, I was on the hunt for this little lady and searched as many Target stores in my area. Finally, online one Target stated that they had only one of this ornament left in stock and I thought with my luck I'd never find it. Once I arrived I searched everywhere and as I was about to head out I found it! The very last of it's kind. This year you can find her all over the place with good reason isn't she the cutest? I hope you're not hating all of my Alice pieces cause most of them are my favorite so let me tell you what I love most about this specific one. This ornament is from Disneyland and I purchased her about four years ago. I love Holidays at Disneyland. I love seeing all the characters in their little winter attire so when I saw this ornament of Alice in a glittery long-sleeved dress and scarf I needed to add it to my collection. It's such a cute ornament and on the side of her traditional black bow headband, she has a little mistletoe! How adorable! A couple of years ago for every gift, she DIY'd unique little \u003Ca href=\"http:\/\/www.peppermintheart.com\/2016\/12\/diy-mason-jar-lid-wreath-ornaments.html\"\u003Emason jar lid ornaments\u003C\/a\u003E. I was obsessed with the idea when she told me this is such a fun and thoughtful idea, I would even love to do something similar to this one day. I was so happy when I saw that she gifted me this rustic-inspired ornament with twine all around the lid, a lace ribbon, and a baby deer in the middle. I love me a whimsical rustic style! The first one up is the Alice in Wonderland inspired heel. I love ornaments like these because they are so detailed. Alice's heel is blue with scalloped trimmings around the shoe. The strap is black with a few red stones to incorporate the Queen of Hearts and on each end of the strap, you will see a rose, one red and one white. If you haven't already noticed the heel of the shoe is none other than the Chesire Cat's infamous striped tail. When I saw these are Target I was so excited because I had never seen anything Russian doll-related at Target let alone some super adorable ornament like these ladies. I purchased quite a few of these for my tree and have a total of six. I purchased two extra ones which I sent one to a good friend of mine who also loves matryoshkas like I do and the other I have hanging inside my car. Rudy and I, mostly me, was on a hunt to take home a Harry Potter ornament because we never took one home with us on any of our previous trips to Hogwarts. When I saw this ornament I knew it was perfect because of how simple yet classic it is. Surprisingly, this is one of my first HP ornament and I don't know what took me so long. I believe I purchased this in December of 2007 or 2008. At the time Disney rarely released Alice in Wonderland merchandise and one day while Christmas shopping at the Disney Store I spotted this lovely ornament. I remember the day so well still. I was so ecstatic when I brought it home and it still remains to be one of my favorite ornaments. Alice is sitting down holding a teacup with the Mad Hatter and March Hare on each side. I feel this is one of the famous images of the threesome. I purchased this Alice in Wonderland Artist Series Sketchbook ornament on Black Friday and it's a limited edition Lithograph set. The artwork from this ornament is by the artist Steve Thompson, and it is number \u003Ci\u003Etwo\u003C\/i\u003E of \u003Ci\u003Efive\u003C\/i\u003E ornament and lithograph sets in the Sketchbook Artist Series. I'm so obsessed with this gem since it's unique from all of my other ornaments. There are hidden Mickey's cutouts, and contains characters of Alice, Queen of Hearts, Deck of Cards soldiers, Cheshire Cat in the back of the ornament, and the Dormouse that can be found on the Queen's shoulder. Here is another Disney Store find and it is Alice in the \"woods\" talking to the Cheshire Cat while he's up on\u0026nbsp;top of the tree, probably up to no good. This is from the scene where Alice is trying to get through the door to go after the White Rabbit. She drinks a bottle marked \"drink me\" to shrink to get down to the right size to get through the door. This is such a simple ornament but it's so cute! What I like most about this ornament is that Alice is holding a gingerbread Christmas tree cookie. I love Christmas it's definitely my favorite Holiday and collecting different ornaments is something I love doing. Each ornament tells a different story and they're all so personal. I was obsessed when I first noticed this ornament. I love that once again, it's a character that you rarely ever see merchandise of, and how cute is it that it's a Mickey hat-shaped while also having a tea kettle shape to it. This ornament screams mad tea party from the fun colors and designs the two teacups on the ears. Disneyland carries quite a few ornaments in this shape with tons of different characters. All, of course,\u0026nbsp;are catered to the theme of each film, which leads me onto my next ornament.\u003Cbr \/\u003E\n\u003Cdiv class=\"separator\" style=\"clear: both; text-align: center;\"\u003E\n\u003Ca href=\"https:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-BmdNzSk8A5A\/W_3a2hUl0QI\/AAAAAAAAG7o\/98y4moc2U0ARE8YFJ_oolx9bo09mCrY0wCLcBGAs\/s1600\/IMG_5996.JPG\" style=\"margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;\"\u003E\u003Cimg border=\"0\" data-original-height=\"1200\" data-original-width=\"1600\" src=\"https:\/\/2.bp.blogspot.com\/-BmdNzSk8A5A\/W_3a2hUl0QI\/AAAAAAAAG7o\/98y4moc2U0ARE8YFJ_oolx9bo09mCrY0wCLcBGAs\/s1600\/IMG_5996.JPG\" \/\u003E\u003C\/a\u003E\u003C\/div\u003E\nClearly, I had to pick up the Alice version of this ornament. I believe this was one of the first few ornaments I purchased from Disneyland. The majority of the ornament is Alice's infamous blue dress and white apron(all filled in the glitter of course), followed with her black bow up top. As you can see, one ear has the Cheshire Cat and his creepy smile, while the other is inspired by the Queen of Hearts. As you turn the ornament over you will find a large bow from Alice's apron and behind one of the ears her signature. Years and years ago when I purchased my very first Alice in Wonderland ornament they also had one of the Queen of Hearts, but I decided to pass on it since I loved Alice. Ever since then I regretted not picking up your highness. The Disney Store released this ornament of the Queen holding the white rose bush with painted red roses. I purchased them together a few years back from Target. They are a glass teapot, one in pink and the other in a light blue. They are so cute and I'm a fan of anything teacups and teapots since they always remind me of Alice. The detailing on each of them are in white with glitter I just had to take home one of each color. I added this guy to my collection a couple of years ago and I actually purchased him on eBay for really cheap! The Stormtroopers is my favorite Star Wars character, along with Daddy Vador of course. I even have a Stormtrooper tattoo.
