getting questions regarding my tattoos from who does my work, whether it hurt, and what they mean. The most common thing people tell me is how bright and vibrant my tattoos look. I take such pride in trying to maintain the appearance of my tattoos and today I wanted to share with you some tips and tricks. Some of these steps may seem pretty obvious or maybe even something you'd never think of. They are very easy and I swear by them. I don't do this routine on a daily basis, I do this one to two times a week especially in warmer months. Let's start!

Exfoliate: The first step I like to take when it comes to my tattoos is to exfoliate my skin. Exfoliating your skin helps get rid of dry and dead skin you may have. I've been using Lush's Dark Angels face and body cleanser to exfoliate my skin. I've talked about this product countless times so I will skip going into detail in this post. I enjoy that this scrub is very gentle on the skin and it also brightens the skin. Perfect for my tattoos. When I'm in the shower and exfoliating my body I like to focus the scrub on areas where I have tattoos. For the most part my arms and legs. Once I'm done with this step my skin feels incredibly soft and I also notice that my tattoos look a lot more colorful. If I'm not using the Dark Angels cleanser, I've been also using a sugar scrub from B&BW but this one I find to be a little harsher. It's been about a month that I included this step into my routine and I'm so pleased with the result. I also consider this exfoliating step as a prep for this next step.

Shave: I know some people may find this weird but I like to shave most areas where I have tattoos, such as my arms, knuckles, and legs. I've always been one to shave my arms pre-tattoos because I don't like the look of having any hair on my arms. Now with tattoos, I don't like having any hair on them even more. I don't have dark hair, it's more of a golden blonde but I feel that it covers up my tattoos and makes them look a little ashy, darker, or dusty. With shaving my tattoos I feel that it brightens up the tattoos right away because there is no hair to hide them. A simple step like this I feel makes such a difference. I like using D'Fluff from Lush, you guys already know haha. I like this shaving cream because it's filled with moisture and that's ideal for my sensitive skin. Anything that really hydrates and moisturizes my skin especially if I'm shaving is exactly what I need since shaving can irritate my skin, especially in warmer months when I'm shaving one to two times a week. Any moisture enriched shaving cream is very good for hydrating your tattoos as well.

Moisturize: If you have tattoos and you aren't moisturizing them you are basically begging for them to fade. Keeping your skin let alone your tattoos hydrated and moisturized is so important. If you skip this you are letting your skin (tattoos) dry out and when your skin is dry it flakes. This means your tattoos will begin to fade. I'm horrible at moisturizing my body but I try to make it top priority to always moisturize my tattoos. I love using Lush's Charity Pot because it is so hydrating! I love to slather this all over my body especially my tattoos because it immediately brightens the color of my tattoos. Another product I found that intensifies my tattoos a lot more is body oil. For the past two months, I have skipped my charity pot body lotion and have been using this Collagen Vitamin C oil religiously. Vitamin C works wonders for your skin and gives the skin a youthful glow. This oil also helps to brighten and tighten the skin along with helping with anti-aging. I don't like the feeling of feeling sticky or greasy from moisturizer or in this case from an oil. This oil is very fast absorbing and after about five minutes I don't even feel the slipperiness on my skin. I highly recommend that everyone should use an oil to moisturize their skin it really intensifies the color of your tattoos.

Sunblock: My final step is one I don't even have to mention. I spoke a lot about this in a previous post, but once again if you have tattoos especially you need to use SPF. The sun will fade and discolor the appearance of your tattoo. You do not want all that money you spent on them to go to waste especially if you are exposed to the sun long-term. Another thing you might want to think about is if you are the type of person who freckles. I never realized that I get freckles because of the sun. I was never one to have freckles as a child but the older I get I noticed I get a few freckles on my arms when I'm more exposed to the sun. This isn't necessarily a problem except if you have tattoos. Your freckles can bunch with making your tattoo look muddy. I never really put as much sunblock on my right arm since I had barely any tattoos on that arm and my sleeve of tattoos is on my left arm. It was last year when I read somewhere about tattoos and freckling that I noticed my right arm has a lot more freckles than my left. On my Luna Lovegood spectrespecs, I found that I have two small freckles on the blue lens and I don't remember having them before. Now I make sure to apply as much SPF to all of my tattoos and of course my entire body that will be exposed to the sun.

I hope you found how I keep my tattoos looking fresh and bright helpful, and hopefully, you learned a thing or two from this post. Do you consider yourself a tattoo collector?
I do, I always think of a new tattoo piece as a new charm bracelet that I'm adding to my body. I have an entire tattoo collection series on my blog.

2. When did you realize you were becoming a collector?
Once I started working on building my sleeve. I slowly began adding more cherry blossoms followed by my Russian Doll piece. At that point, I didn't even want a sleeve but it slowly grew.

3. How old were you when you first decided you wanted to get a tattoo?
I can't remember exactly at what age I first decided I wanted a tattoo. My dad has a few tattoos himself and I remember as a kid always admiring them telling myself I wanted one some day. My dad would always tell me no haha.

4. At what age did you get your first tattoo?
Eighteen, way too young!

5. Where do you get your tattoos done at?
I don't have one specific place I go to anymore, I have a specific artist. When I first started getting more tattoos I was going to a shop called Hurtswell Tattoo in San Jose, but the shop closed down a few years ago, unfortunately. Now I get my tattoos by Chelsey and since meeting her I've gone to three different shops. Where she goes I go haha.

6. What does your family think of your tattoos?
My family has been pretty respectful for the most part when it comes to my tattoos, and they don't say much at all.

7. Which piece took the most sessions to complete?
Most of my tattoos I try to get done in one sitting unless it's a large piece. The framed girl piece on my left thigh took the longest. I had to go in for a total of four sessions; outline, shading, coloring the frame, and then coloring the picture with the girl.

8. Which tattoo took the longest to heal?
The framed girl once again haha. Some parts on the background weren't healing and it even looked infected at one point. Some areas remained really wet and kept grabbing onto my clothes and bedsheets. In my sleep, I toss and turn from side to side and the sheets would rip off the tattoo sometimes making it worse. A lot of the blue ink fell off too.

9. How many tattoos do you have?
Honestly, I don't even know. I also have trouble with how to answer this question. I have a sleeve, so is that considered one piece even though I slowly added pieces to it? If so I have a full sleeve and twenty-five other tattoos. If I count each piece of my sleeve I'd say the grand total will be forty-seven tattoos (I think) not including cover ups or sessions per piece.

10. Have you always loved tattoos?
Yes. As I mentioned above my dad has a few pieces and I would always stare and look through them. I feel I do have a specific taste though when it comes to a tattoo. Just because I like them doesn't mean I like every single tattoo in the world. I'm extremely picky with style and work.

11. Out of all your tattoos which one would you say is your favorite?
How can I choose one? I can't. I love just about all of my tattoos but I can try narrowing it down to my top <strike>five </strike>(six). In no specific order; my Russian doll, my rose on my foot, my Alice, my Alice tea cup on my calve, and my Bates Motel. I also have to include my peach on my finger.

12. Has anyone ever copied your tattoo?
Not that I know of and I hope not. I did have someone message me asking for permission to copy my Alice tattoo. I told her I don't give her permission but who knows what happened next. If anyone were to every copy a tattoo of mine I just hope they never post it on the internet and that I never find out.

13. Do you regret any of your tattoos?
I do, and I don't at the same time. I have a couple that I don't care for too much anymore but nothing that really bothers me too much that I would want to do something about it.

14. What was the least painful tattoo you've gotten?
My ellipsis tattoo since it's super tiny and was done very quick. I mean it's only three dots after all haha.

15. What's the furthest you've traveled for a tattoo?
The first time I met and got a tattoo by Chelsey at Lucky 13 Tattoos in Alameda. It was close to an hour drive if not more.

16. How do you care for your tattoos?
My typical aftercare is washing my tattoo as soon as I get home from a session and I apply Aquaphor for the first two days. Two days post tattoo, I use either Charity Pot or Dream Cream from Lush. The recent tattoo I got Chelsey used a wrap called Second-Skin and I'm obsessed with it. She applied the wrap after the tattoo was completed and I had to leave it on for 24 hours. The following day I removed it, washed it, and applied a thin layer of lotion. Then I applied a new wrap that Chelsey sent me home with. That second wrap I left on for a week. On day seven I removed the wrap and the tattoo was healed and I applied lotion as needed. Totally amazing and my tattoo never hurt or felt sore. I definitely want to heal my tattoos this way from here on out.

17. How did you decide or get inspiration for your tattoo(s)?
A lot of my tattoos if not all, are of things that I really like. For example my Luna piece. I love Luna and told Chelsey I wanted her spectrespecs with a smiliar quote of hers and let Chelsey do her thing. I also get a lot of inspo photos of tattoos on IG and Pinterest sometimes Tumblr.

18. What was the most painful tattoo you've gotten?
This is a little tough to answer. A few years ago I would say foot because when I got my right foot tattooed I remember that hurt like hell, but maybe that's because it was my second tattoo. When I got my left foot it wasn't nearly as bad. When I got my bow on the back of my neck I remember that being thw worst and I felt like I was going to pass out. Inside and back of the arm 'bicep' is another extremly sensitive spot for me.

19. What's your most recent tattoo?
My Bates Motel house!

20. How do you react when someone asks to see your tattoo?
Usually when people ask to see my tattoos it's because they like them and are interested in them so I'm always more than happy to show people.

21. What was the longest time you sat for to complete your tattoo?
OMG, five in a half hours! It was insane and torturous towards the end I seriously don't know how I did it. It was my fawn lady thigh piece, that thing is huge. It truned out so amazing.

22. Do you plan on getting more tattoos in the future?
Yeah for sure, eventually.

23. If you could completely start over with your tattoos would you choose or do something differently?
Maybe, only if I would get all of my money back haha. There are definitely some thing's I wish I did differently and would change, but because of that I also learned a lot about tattoos. I know better today because of that.

24. Which tattoo is the most secretive that no one really knows you even have it?
I have three tattoos that not many people know of. I have a tattoo on the side of my rib, one on the side of my boob above my ribs, and I also have my sternum tattooed.

25. When will your tattoo collection be finished?
I don't have a clue. I've had times that I tell myself, "Ok this is my last tattoo". A few months later I find myself getting another one.

I hope you enjoyed getting to know a little more about my tattoos if you didn't know some of the answers already. I had fun creating and doing this post. Per usual, I tag anyone who's reading this and has tattoos. Specifically, I tag Imelda because I'd love to know your answers to some of these questions.

{"$t":"Juliana
$t":"http://www.blogger.com/profile/09410637408830790715
$t":"noreply@blogger.com"},"gd$image":
//blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinw98N1LY4v8SvYbQE7_w8QZkoJjgkTZuMxaLciiTGhqEIOsYZtOXCNr7YQTC05lz_vPv4_jABDfn8oJ2giVQ_04s9i77G94gU9ZaprRtLepq-xmeSbo8krD2DNsPoZT0/s113/ACS_0224.JPG"}}],"media$thumbnail":{"xmlns$media":"http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/
https://4.bp.blogspot.com/-5JK_eZ_kc_4/WTN1ROhr9qI/AAAAAAAAEgw/ZiOzfmjkTpYwBlevePYrTbaXdJgsbg3aACLcB/s72-c/image1.JPG
72
72"},"thr$total":{"$t":"7
$t":"tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-400672302414468518.post-2239511273463733624
$t":"2016-09-27T10:20:00.000-07:00
$t":"2020-06-08T08:59:32.190-07:00
"$t":"Hush Anesthetic Gel
html","$t":"

This post has been a long time coming. I have been meaning to do a post about this numbing gel ever since I began my Tattoo Collection Series. After I got my Luna Lovegood tattoo the request for this post went through the roof. I'm happy that I am finally sharing it with you today.

I first heard of Hush Gel anesthetic from a tattoo artist that I was going to at the time a couple of years ago. He explained to me that it was a gel that numbs your skin during your tattoo session. I had been planning on getting a piece on my sternum and I had a feeling I would probably need this gel for it. In January of 2015, I ordered my first bottle of Hush. I had ordered it a little late so I knew it wasn't going to arrive for the first session of my sternum. This spot was a bit painful but my mind was at peace knowing that I would have the numbing gel for the next session. The tattoo artist told me that you apply it to the area you're going get worked on and then wrap it with plastic wrap for an hour before your session. I did exactly that. I was amazed at how well this stuff worked with numbing my stomach. It didn't numb my skin completely but it made the pain so much more bearable. However, by the time the artist got to the other side of my tattoo, I felt it wore off completely. Now almost two years later I think I've learned a lot more on how to use Hush and with each use I've gotten better and better at it. Today I am going to share with you guys exactly how to use this gel properly, how much product to use, how long to leave it on your skin for, and some pros to using the gel. This is all super easy but I always get tons and tons of questions from a lot of my friends. I'm always more than happy to help and now I can share this post with a lot of you guys and hopefully answer some questions anyone may have had.

Disclaimer: I am not a professional whatsoever. Everything I have learned is through personal experience and from my tattoo artist who uses it on herself and on her clients.

First I want to share some mistakes I myself made when I used Hush for the first time. Like I said above the gel had worn off before my artist even got to the other side of my piece. This happened because at the time I didn't know that for the best results you should use a thick layer of gel! That was the first mistake I made. I applied a thin layer, maybe a generous amount as you would apply lotion to the skin. That is why it wore off so soon there wasn't enough product. The second mistake I made was only leaving it on for an hour. Since the artist who introduced me to Hush told me I had to leave it on the skin for an hour and I did, I now know that you should leave it on for at least an hour and a half. Two hours would be ideal! I learned this from Chelsey and along with some other tips.

I am now going to share the steps I take on applying the gel. This may become a little repetitive so please bear with me.

Personally, before any tattoo session, I always like to shower before and make sure the area that is going to get worked on is cleaned thoroughly. Just about two hours prior to the appointment apply a thick layer of your Hush gel like you see on the photo above and below. If you are getting a bigger piece then, of course, apply much more and cover the entire area that may get worked on just to be safe. I used my arm as an example for the purpose of this post.

Next, you're going to want to wrap the entire area you just applied the gel with some kind of plastic wrap such as Saran wrap. That is what I always use and has always worked great for me. This may become a little tricky to wrap by yourself depending on where you are going to be getting tattooed. I remember when I was trying to wrap the saran wrap around my stomach when I was going to get my sternum finished it was so difficult to do on my own and a mess haha. Try to have someone help you that will be the best option and it will ensure you have it wrapped as good as possible so the gel won't move around and leak out of the wrap, which happened to me.

On the Hush website, it states to allow the gel to absorb into the skin for an hour and Amazon says thirty minutes. Completely disregard that and make sure to leave in wrapped on the skin for two hours as I stated above. The longer that the product is being absorbed to the skin the better and the numbing will be. When I got my stormtrooper and fawn piece done I had the gel on for about an hour and a half. I used a good amount of gel but not as much as I do now. I left it wrapped for a good amount of time but it wore off before the pieces were completed. (My fawn piece is also enormous!) With those pieces, I could also still feel the needle a tiny bit but it didn't hurt at all. Now when I got my Luna spectrespec piece Chelsey kept my arm wrapped for a little over two hours and I also made sure to add a little extra amount of gel since I'm extremely sensitive on the bicep area. Once Chelsey started I didn't feel a thing! I'm not even lying when I'm telling you that I couldn't feel anything at all besides my arm moving from the needle. It was absolutely amazing. Anywhere around the bicep area is super sensitive to me so I knew I was definitely going to use Hush for this spot. My arm remained numb for almost the entire session it was only towards the last I want to say ten minutes before Chelsey was finished that certain areas started to sting. I think it's mainly because like I said the bicep area is just an overall sensitive spot for me but the Hush gel stuck around for most of it. It was a complete breeze getting this piece. It is also stated that the numbness should last for about two hours after it is unwrapped but this also depends and varies from person to person.

Now for some pros on the gel. When I first heard of this product I went online and did some research as I suggest you also do after reading this post. I had seen other similar products to Hush on Amazon and a lot of people were saying that these types of products aren't good for tattoos. Some people stated that it will end up messing your tattoo especially colored pieces along with messing up the healing process. I also read that some tattoo artists are against it and won't tattoo anyone if they are using any of these kinds of gels or creams. However, that isn't the case for Hush and this gel actually offers some really good benefits. Hush Anesthetic gel will help your skin from swelling which is normal while getting a tattoo. It also helps with reducing redness and skin irritation. Hush gel is safe for people with sensitive skin and also speeds up the healing time. Just a few more things that are great to know about Hush is that it is Paraben and Epinephrine free. Hush Gel is also cruelty-free and vegan! How awesome is that, I know more and more people are becoming vegan and many people don't support companies that test on animals. This made me so happy when I saw the little cruelty free bunny on the bottle. By the way, all this information can be found on Hush Gel's website in case you don't believe any of these facts.

I absolutely agree with everything I stated above. Depending on the area of skin I'm getting tattooed and for how long it's being worked on this gel has really helped my skin from getting too irritated or super red. I think my skin heals pretty quick with tattoos and they are normally fully healed within a week give or take a few days. Since using Hush my tattoos dry up by the second day and it is starting to crack and peel a little by day three. I've also never had a problem with it messing up any of my tattoos that I used it for.

The only con I have about Hush is that the price just keeps going up! When I first purchased it I thought the amount I paid for a 4 oz bottle wasn't bad. Pretty reasonable. Then when I went to purchase a second bottle a year later the price went up by a lot. I hate this but I think I will still continue to purchase it regardless. I think it's completely worth it especially if you really want a tattoo but think or know you wouldn't be able to handle the pain or getting worked on for hours. I just hope they don't continue to raise the price.

Once it is time for your artist to remove the wrap and gel to begin placing your stencil your skin may look a little pink. This is how my skin always looks once the gel is wiped off and the skin is also a little puffy. Once again totally normal, and according to Chelsey, this is what it's supposed to look like. At this point, you can even go ahead and pinch yourself because you won't feel a thing.

Chelsey is a big fan of Hush like I mentioned she even uses it herself. When she is tattooing me she also uses the Hush foam and sprays which pretty much helps bring the numbness back, kind of like it reactivates it and it actually helps a lot. (I think...) It's been a while since I got my last piece which was back in December, in other words, I was overdue for one. I knew exactly what I wanted to get next for some time now but I had to wait until my tattoo artist, Chelsey, had an available spot for me. She is an amazing artist that I have mentioned multiple times on my blog and she gets booked super quick. In the last week of July I was able to snag an appointment with her, and I was so excited to get this done! Chelsey and I have a lot of things in common. We are both big Disney, Star Wars and Harry Potter fans which only seemed fitting that I would have her do any tattoos related to those. I think she is an expert in that department and she did do a phenomenal job on my Alice in Wonderland teacup and my Stormtrooper piece. People are always staring at my stormtrooper and pointing to it while I am at Disneyland. Everyone loves that piece including cast members. I knew she was the perfect person to do this next piece (and all future pieces) on me.

I already have a Harry Potter tattoo which is a Deathly Hallows sign on the side of my boob, still, I wanted to get another. Luna Lovegood was the perfect edition to add to my tattoo collection because she is my absolute favorite character. Luna isn't just cute and quirky but is very smart, brave and open-minded. She looks at things in different ways and isn't afraid of being different. Why is it that people are labeled as weird just because they aren't the same as everyone else? Luna is unique and just as 'sane' as everyone else. I decided I wanted to get her signature Spectrespecs with a similar phrase to her iconic quote "You're just as sane as I am" below it. I decided on this quote because one is my favorite, and secondly, the meaning I see from this quote is that no matter who you are or how much better people may think they are compared to others at the end of the day everyone is the same. No better, no less "you're just the same as I". That being said I got "Don't worry you're just the same as I". I still wanted it to be similar to her quote but a little different. Like Luna's quote I can see her saying don't worry you're not crazy you're just like me, regardless of her appearance or what people thought of her. So for everyone that had felt the need to tell me this isn't her "original" quote or its wrong, I know that wasn't what I wanted and now you know why I got it this way.

I decided I wanted to get this piece on my right arm. It's been almost two months since I posted part 5 and I don't know why it's taken me this long to make this final post. I think maybe it has to do with me being a little sad that this series is coming to an end and I had so much fun doing it! This post is going to consist of tattoos that have been done by Chelsey the newest tattoo artist I have been going to for my work.

First I want to start off by sharing how I came to find her. I love Disney you all know this by now, I love seeing all kinds of Disney tattoos since I have a few myself. One of my good friends Sami had tagged me on a photo of a Disney tattoo Chelsey had done which I believe was of the mermaids from Peter Pan. I instantly fell in love with that piece and began browsing through her page. I noticed she had done tons of Disney tattoos, faceless ones being a popular one. She is a huge Disney fan and I loved that she clearly knew exactly what she was doing. She was so good at it too! Another major thing I noticed of her art that I loved was that she added dots "glitter" to her work which really pieces the whole tattoo together. It was something I hadn't seen any other artist do and I immediately knew I wanted/needed to get a tattoo by her. A Disney tattoo!

I began to brainstorm ideas of what I wanted to get done by Chelsey before I decided to message her. I kept thinking about something Alice but I already have an Alice tattoo and didn't want to get another one. I was highly considering the redhead mermaid from Peter Pan since she is my favorite lol but chose not to. I stumbled across this photo above on Tumblr and fell in love with this tattoo of the teacup and flowers inside of it. It reminded me so much of the teacup from Mad Tea Party ride in Disneyland and that so happens to be my favorite teacup. I'm not sure if that was what they were going for in this photo for the tattoo but I thought would be a great idea and perfect for Chelsey to do on me! I emailed her and she got back to me super quick and I made my appointment! I was so excited all her work is with such vibrant colors I was excited to see how mine would turn out.

Once I arrived at the shop for my appointment she had me choose from two sketches. They both were with teacup but one had more flowers than the other. I went with the one with more flowers of course and then she has me choose colors. You can really tell she knows exactly what she is doing because when she asked me to choose colors she had me choose colors on the opposite side of the color wheel so that everything can complement each other so well. I have never had a tattoo artist do this and I was very pleased with her already. What I loved most of her besides the fact that she really knew what she was doing is that she gave me her honest input on things and I appreciate that from a tattoo artist. She did change the teacup just a tiny bit, the original teacup heart has gold but she asked if we could skip that and I was ok with it because I knew she would make it look the best she can. Of course, once she was done I was blown away and I am still so obsessed with this piece to this day. It is one of my favorite tattoos I have had done and I got it on my right calf. The colors look amazing and still do today. I love how detailed she is and I especially love how the dots came out on this tattoo. It is more than perfect my Disneyland teacup with wildflowers inside and I'm excited about warm weather so I can show it off again. This spot was a bit tender and I remember it felt like it burned. This was also another tattoo I had to lay flat on my stomach so I was uncomfortable. I hate laying on my stomach haha.

I knew I wanted to get more work done by Chelsey and the next piece she did was a big one! I had been wanting to add something to the front of my thigh for a while but never committed to getting anything done. I also had a few ideas but nothing every stuck. I love fawns I think they are so pretty and whimsical. I love the mixture of human and fawn/deer. Every year for Halloween it is a favorite look of mine to create. I told Chelsey about my idea and she was on board. When I saw her final sketch on this piece I was so excited to get started. It was everything I had envisioned and wanted, she brought it to life so perfectly. It took just about five hours or maybe more for her to complete this piece, keep in mind this is huge! We also did it all in one sitting!!! I don't know how I did it but I did, I also used my trusty Hush gel for this. If it wasn't for that I know I wouldn't have stuck it through. It was only towards the end when the numbing wore off that the pain really hit me but honestly it was all worth it. I was so happy to have got it done all at once since I didn't have to wait any longer for her to be all done. I love how Chelsey added a septum piercing to her. I think it made my little fawn look so cool and look at her hair. It's ombré!!!!! A lot of people went crazy over haha. I get tons of compliments on this piece as well I mean how can I not? She added flowers around her which I think just completed her. She added roses, baby's breath, and daisies. It's all so perfect I absolutely love her.

Randomly Rudy and I were talking about getting matching tattoos. Rudy is a huge Star Wars fan and I know he had been wanting to get a lightsaber tattoo for a while. I thought why not get somewhat matching ones since I was becoming really obsessed with the series. Of course, I had to have Chelsey do them since she is also a huge Star Wars fan, I knew she would know exactly what she was doing when it came to it. Rudy decided to do his red for the dark side and I wanted to throw a little unique touch to mine and have it be peach, of course, haha. Rudy got his on the side of his hand while I got mine on the inside of my finger. This spot was very tender and pretty painful! Luckily its a small piece so it didn't last too long. With it being a finger tattoo and the peach saber being so light in color I knew I would have to have it touched up a few times until the color really stuck. One really cool thing, Chelsey added glitter to my saber too! It gives such a uniqueness to it I love it!

The very last tattoo I got was back in December. During this session, Rudy and I had also got touch-ups on our sabers. The Stormtroopers from Star Wars is one of my favorite characters. They are baé! I had been wanting to get them tattooed for a few months but didn't know how I wanted to do it. I had this pin that says Star Wars on it with a few roses in the back with a white background and that was what I really love about it. I don't know how I put the two together but since the Stormtrooper is while like the background of the pin I thought it would be really cool to have tons of flowers on the "helmet" of the troop. When I texted Chelsey about my idea she was excited about it like I was and when she showed me the sketch when I arrived for my appointment I was even more excited yet again. I decided I wanted to get him on my chin. I thought this spot was going to be very painful since every time I get hit on my chin it's painful so to be safe I went ahead and used my Hush gel once again. How cool does this tattoo look??? I love the colors, the flowers, and glitter everything! It looks so pretty. I especially love how it kinda reminds me of the galaxy on the top left of the helmet. Once I posted a photo of this piece on IG people were going crazy and loved it. It is something so different and nothing I had ever seen anyone before me get this. I am so happy I had Chelsey do this for me because like I've said before she really knows exactly what she is doing and Star Wars and Disney is what she knows so much about! I think she is such a perfectionist and I am very happy about it. I am more than satisfied with each and every piece she's done on me and I know I want her to do more on me.

It's now been about 5 months since I got the last tattoo I haven't really been in any rush to get anything done lately. I suppose I've just been taking a break. I have however been thinking up of ideas of what I want to get next. My mind is always thinking of that next tattoo it's never-ending. This is it for my tattoo series, I will make sure to share any tattoos I decide to get in the future. Also if you are in the Bay Area check out Chelsey you won't regret it!

Xo
Juliana

{"$t":"Juliana
$t":"http://www.blogger.com/profile/09410637408830790715
$t":"noreply@blogger.com"},"gd$image":
//blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEinw98N1LY4v8SvYbQE7_w8QZkoJjgkTZuMxaLciiTGhqEIOsYZtOXCNr7YQTC05lz_vPv4_jABDfn8oJ2giVQ_04s9i77G94gU9ZaprRtLepq-xmeSbo8krD2DNsPoZT0/s113/ACS_0224.JPG"}}],"media$thumbnail":{"xmlns$media":"http://search.yahoo.com/mrss/
https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/-RqJAEhW4wSo/VyYshLYvGbI/AAAAAAAAB7I/-nr94gdsL08/s72-c/blogger-image--905232658.jpg
72
72"},"thr$total":{"$t":"4"}}]}});
