Let's Pick Some Apples

I'm so excited to share today's post with you all. I am making apple picking a tradition of mine and Rudy's during every fall season. Last fall was our very first-time apple picking at the Gizdich Farms and it's definitely something we've enjoyed doing and plan on doing for man…

Peach Picking

With Summer quickly approaching I have been wanting to go peach picking before the season is over. Last year, for our first fruit picking experience we went too late in the season for peaches and since then I kept telling Rudy we'd have to go super early come this year. Over the month we've been so busy every single weekend and on Sunday we finally left it open to find a farm of peaches. We ended up visiting Mike's U-Pick Peaches over at Brentwood, a small but adorable farm. Rudy and I managed to get our hands on some peaches, but sadly most of them were all picked and sold the day before. So unfortunate, however, we still managed to have had tons of fun. If you've never gone fruit picking I highly suggest you go to your local farm and do so, you won't regret it. We (or should I say Rudy) was on a roll with the camera and snapped tons of pictures that I'm so excited to share with you all today. Go grab yourself a slice of peach pie and enjoy these photos!

Apple Picking

It's fall ya'll! One thing on mine and Rudy's to-do list for the month of October, mainly for the Autumn season really, was to go apple picking! You might be getting a bit tired of hearing me mention how much we enjoyed going berry picking during the Summer, well we did. Because of that, we knew this would be something we would love to continue doing through all the seasons. So for Autumn apple picking was a must. A couple of weekends ago we made our way to the Gizdich Farm over in Watsonville, the same place where we did our berry picking and picked ourselves some apples!

Berry Picking

Last Sunday Rudy and I drove to Watsonville to do some fruit picking of our own! My cousin had suggested we go to a local farm and do the peach picking, unfortunately, we had no luck with finding a farm that was offering peaches to pick, however, we did find tons that had strawberries available for picking. This was something Rudy and I never did before and we both really enjoyed doing. It wasn't overly crowded either and I think this is something we will want to do throughout other seasons. The farm we ended up going to had a large field of Strawberries and then literally down the street they had another field filled with blackberries and Olallieberries. So we did both!
