All About My Wedding Rings

I have gotten more than a million questions about my wedding rings over the last four and a half years. It all started when I got engaged, my rose gold morganite ring was a definite hot topic! Everyone was raving about how different and unique it was, that it was a very "Juliana" ring, w…

Our Wedding Photos!

Rudy and I have been married now for one year and four months. We eloped while we were living in Washington, just the two of us, and it's a decision I never regretted once. Since our elopement, we always said we wanted to take wedding photos. In a past blog post, I briefly mentioned that I wou…

Where do I even start? After being engaged for a little over two years Rudy and I finally did it. We got married! Ever since getting engaged back in May of 2015, marriage has been a major hot topic for everyone around us. Friends and family members were all so excited for us and curious to know when the big day would be. Of course, Rudy and I had talked about it a lot but we were trying to be realistic. Now with that said, we eloped.

Wedding Inspiration

Recently I have been so inspired towards looking at wedding ideas for my wedding. It's still so surreal to me that I am engaged. I have dreamt about Rudy proposing to me for what feels like forever. When he finally did I couldn't believe it and clearly, I still can't. I can not wait to marry him and spend the rest of my life as his wife and him as my husband. Ahh, that gives me butterflies and makes me so giddy just to think about. As soon as we got engaged I became addicted to Pinterest! That place is the motherload of inspirations and my favorite site for it. Like I said recently I became inspired all over again to look at ideas for what I would like mine and Rudy's wedding to look like. I think this may have to do with the new Wedding book my friend gifted me. Here are some pictures that I really like and would love to have something similar to my very own wedding.

Our Engagement Party

Saturday was mine and Rudy's engagement party, and it was so much fun! The few days leading up to the day were quite stressful; trying to get last-minute things together along with setting everything up Friday night and getting the finishing touches Saturday morning. It was all worth it! Having our close family members and closest friends celebrate with us meant so much it was all so nice and makes me a little anxious about the wedding! We were all so exhausted by the end of the night but I wouldn't have had it any other way. I'm so thankful for the family and friends we have. You really learn who your true friends are during these important moments in your life and I'm starting to really reevaluate who's in mine. We had desserts galore haha it was the main thing everyone was talking about & was so impressed. My dad, my mom, and I made most of the desserts. Here are tons of pictures from the party. Enjoy!

The Proposal!

(The spot where Rudy proposed to me.)

Where do I even begin? I'm engaged! Today makes exactly one month that Rudy proposed to me and I still can't believe it. I always catch myself staring at my ring in awe. I don't think that feeling will ever fade. Today I'm going to share our engagement story with you guys. It's kind of a long story to have to type up to every single person and that's what really pushed me into making this blog so I can just type up a whole post dedicated entirely to this story. Let's begin!
